is looking forward to a busy and fruitful year. She just finished her latest novel entitled: "CHARLOTTE SOPHIA: Myth, Madness and the Moor"  which is the basis of her new play "Buckingham."

Tina's new play, which had Standing Room Only performances at  Highways  Performance Space in Santa Monica, then called "Charlotte Sophia" will be coming to New York to Broadway! Look for it first at the Pasadena Playhouse in 2012, then Broadway in 2013!

Tina's animated  series  "SISTAS 'n the CITY"  featured on the Showtime Network is available for purchase. Please visit our store to buy the DVD which includes ten episodes, an interview with Tina, and a roundtable discussion with Tina and her diva friends. Tina wrote, executive produced, and directed this "African-American" female view of life, relationships, family, men and hair. Tina's award-winning non-fiction book, "Sally Hemings An American Scandal: The Struggle To Tell The Controversial True Story," (Malibu Press) is a behind-the-scenes memoir of her 16 year struggle to write and produce the Sally Hemings miniseries, is available in book stores or can be ordered on this site!

An essay written by Tina is featured in the book "The First Time I Got Paid For It: Writers Tales From The Hollywood Trenches", (Public Affairs) which includes essays from famous Hollywood screenwriters concerning their early experiences working professionally in the film industry. 

                             

    
Tina is also one of the featured women in the new book "QUEENS: Portraits of Black Women and Their Fabulous Hair" by Michael Cunningham & George Alexander (Doubleday). Other featured women include: Harriet Cole, Benilde Little, and Tonya Lewis Lee.
